Northern Beaches

One team carries this work from start to finish

Failed, missing or non-conforming sealant is a weatherproofing defect, and weatherproofing defects block close-out. M&M Services Group offers silicone services for projects in Frenchs Forest and the Northern Beaches: installation, inspection and repair of silicone joints, from small internal junctions to large facade expansion joints. Because the same team installs, inspects and repairs, the joint has one owner through the defects liability period rather than three parties pointing at each other.

Silicone work rarely travels alone, and it helps that one group also carries facade rectification, glass and surface protection — a mixed defect list in Frenchs Forest can be priced and delivered under a single subcontract. Joints are photographed as the work proceeds, with time-stamped images on OneDrive, and with 90+ staff across day and night shifts, caulking can run behind other trades without holding up the programme.

The local market

Working in Frenchs Forest

Frenchs Forest was reshaped through the 2010s by the Northern Beaches Hospital, opened in 2019, and a major package of surrounding road infrastructure upgrades. The planned Frenchs Forest Town Centre adds commercial, residential and aquatic components near the hospital precinct, while established business-park stock off Warringah Road and the Forestway retail centre round out a suburb balancing health infrastructure with commercial campus buildings.

Our Sydney crews also work in Belrose, Forestville, Davidson, Allambie Heights, Beacon Hill and the rest of the Northern Beaches.

Questions

What builders ask us

Yes — silicone installation, inspection and repair are available across Frenchs Forest and the broader region. Our crews handle everything from small internal junctions to large facade expansion joints, so we can price a scope of any size in Frenchs Forest. Our crews are based at Riverstone and work across Greater Sydney daily, so mobilising to a site in Frenchs Forest is routine.

Yes — inspection is one of the three things we do, alongside installation and repair. We can survey the existing sealant, report on what is failed, missing or non-conforming, and price the remedial work from that report. It gives your contract administrator a defined scope instead of an open-ended allowance.

Any of the three works. We price silicone scopes through formal tenders and RFQs, frequently bundled with facade rectification or glass work we also deliver, and we take direct enquiries at defect and DLP stage. Include joint schedules, drawings or survey photos and we will return a priced, staged response.

Joints are recorded as the work proceeds, with time-stamped documentation accessible to your team on OneDrive. Because installation, inspection and repair sit with one team, the record is continuous — what was installed, what was inspected, what was repaired — which is what a contract administrator needs at close-out and through the DLP.
