Sydney CBD & Inner City

One team carries this work from start to finish

Scratched or hard-water-stained glass fails inspection, and the default answer — a replacement panel — is slow and expensive. M&M Services Group offers glass restoration across Barangaroo and inner Sydney: scratches and staining removed in place, with the repair procedure matched to the specific damage rather than run as a one-size process. For a builder holding a defect list, that means the glazing stays in, the reorder never happens, and the item closes on your programme rather than a supplier's.

The same group carries glass, facade, silicone and interior scopes, so glass restoration can sit inside a wider defect package under one subcontract. Each repair is photographed and time-stamped, with records accessible on OneDrive for your handover file. Day and night shifts are available, which helps where a lobby, pool area or occupied floor in Barangaroo can only be accessed after hours.

The local market

Working in Barangaroo

Barangaroo is a 22-hectare harbourfront renewal precinct anchored by the three International Towers, Crown Towers Sydney and Renzo Piano's One Sydney Harbour residential trio. Barangaroo Metro station opened in 2024, and Central Barangaroo — the precinct's final stage — continues the development pipeline. Facade typologies range from full-height curtain wall to sculptural podiums, with strict precinct-wide finish standards set by tier-1 builders and their facade partners.

Our crews are based at Riverstone and work across Greater Sydney daily, so mobilising to a site in Barangaroo is routine.

Our Sydney crews also work in Millers Point, The Rocks, Sydney CBD, Dawes Point and the rest of inner Sydney.

Questions

What builders ask us

Yes — glass restoration is available across Barangaroo and the surrounding region, and the work is done in place. Scratches and hard-water staining are the core specialties, with each job tailored to the damage. Restoring the panel avoids the cost and lead time a full glazing replacement would put on your programme.

Generally, yes — that is the reason the service exists. A replacement panel carries fabrication lead time, freight, access equipment and installation labour; restoration uses the glass already in the building. We assess each panel honestly: where damage is beyond economic restoration, we say so before any work is priced.

Yes. Builders and facade companies commonly include glass restoration as a line in defect-stage tenders and RFQs, often alongside facade, caulking and interior scopes we also deliver. Issue the package or send a schedule of affected panels, and we will return a priced response covering method, access and staging.

Each panel is photographed before and after restoration, time-stamped, and logged so the defect item can be closed with evidence behind it. Records are accessible to your team on OneDrive throughout the works — the same documentation discipline we apply across our ITP-governed facade scopes.
